Disabled access

There is disabled access and facilities on the ground floor of Birdwood House where the Gallery and the Kitchen meeting room are situated. Most classes are on the first floor which is accessed by stairs. The Loft is accessed through several flights of stairs.

Parking

There is short term parking on Fore Street outside the bulding - limited to an hour. Handy for a quick visit to the gallery.

The council are changing their parking options but as at September 25 this is available on Ringo location 30354.

Other car parks have changed to Park and Pay using PayByPhone.

The nearest public car park (50 level metres away) is the Civic Hall car park TQ9 5SF (Height Barrier: 2.4m PayByPhone Location 810443, not available on Friday and Saturdays - Market days).

A word of warning - Parking can be difficult on Market Day (Fridays and Saturdays) in central Totnes.

Exhibition space

The Gallery at Birdwood House is an established exhibition space for artists to show their work within the community of Totnes and as a centre allowing the public free access to a selected range of artwork plus the chance to meet the artist.
